Powerplay Catamarans - Australia -
www.powerplaycatamarans.com.au/
Immediately prior to the establishment of
Powerplay Catamarans James was the owner and general manager of
Townsville Slipways, a company dedicated to meeting the repair and
maintenance needs of the North Queensland marine industry. It had been
his observation over the years that people were moving away from the
mono hull boats and tending towards catamarans. People seemed to be
looking for better performance, lower fuel and running costs, with a
larger boat area and more stability. Catamarans certainly offer that and
from his observation people were also tending away from sailing cats as
they required more effort to get to their destination. It seemed obvious
to James that powered catamarans were the way of the future.
